Music Group Guidelines

• Submissions are optional! No pressure. We neither require nor expect every person to submit something every time. You are absolutely welcome to join any of our weekly discussions without submitting anything. If you prefer, you are welcome without ever submitting anything.


• Submission duration — We would like to keep the group's weekly listening to less than an hour and, ideally, less than 45 minutes. Therefore, when open submissions are requested, please keep your submission's duration short — a rough guideline is under six minutes. If your video or audio is longer than that, please suggest one or more start and stop points. For example, in a ten-minute video, the key listening may be between 01:30 and 02:00 and again at 07:45 to 09:14. Or just suggest that we listen to a bit to get the idea, without specifying times. However, specification of times is preferred.
