Josquin des Prez

Josquin Des Prez (1440-1521) was a member of the Franco-Flemish School of composers that included Dufay, Ockeghem, Obrecht, and others.     This piece began life as an exercies to write three phrases in the style of Ockeghem: the first having two voices, then three, then four. The third phrase is more like something a hundred years after Ockeghem. After that, like 450 years after Ockeghem.
