Submitted by Alice, who writes: After listening to a bunch of my favorite love songs, I decided on this one. It is like an impressionist painting to me.
I love how the lyrics tell of the coming together of two lovers while pulling you into another world — a beautifully simple one.
Esperanza surely feels the love as she brings it to us.

Borodin — Quartet No. 2 in D Major (1881), III. Notturno: Andante
Submitted by Myndall, who writes: This movement is a romantic favorite of mine. I especially love the sections where the violin echos the cello (4:18) and the second violin echos the first violin (5:15). Borodin's music was used in the musical Kismet, and this beautiful melody is "And This is My Beloved". It was played at our wedding, and to my dismay, Clovice Lewis picked up his cello and plucked it, while Vera played the melody on her flute.
